you can transfer by either putting the hard drive out of the old xbox and in to the new one unless its a slim, in that case you are going to need

now how to do it.

5.Repeat this process until all your files are moved from the old Xbox to the New Xbox.

Now for the redeem code, there is no way to redeem it on another xbox, BUT you can redeem your xbox live account therefore having the redeem code on the new xbox. to do it press the xbox button ( make sure you are signed out) then go to recover gamertag and put in your credentials for the account ( email address password etc.) then it will download your account from the xbox live servers ( this does not download saved data only achievements and redeemed codes and so forth).

No way you can transfer the redeem code, unless you moved the HDD onto the new xbox. (Therefore moved you xbox live account from the previous xbox onto the new one) Or you can transfer the saved games by using a usb.

i would recommend the xbox 360 pro/premium and hte xbox 360 halo 3 special edition. they are very good systems. just make sure that you keep it in a location where there is good air flow, minimal dust, and dont play it for 8 hours or more straight. then you will just overheat it and have to send it in.

Double check that cause that happened to me to, i put the wrong cable. And if you're certain you have the right cable to....are you SURE it's your xbox? Go to future shop, they usually have a great deal on the white xbox 360 for about 299.99 with 2 good games included in it. No one would be able to max out the 60 GB by themselves.
i suggest an elite it has really big memory which will come in handy when xbox experience comes out where you install the games but you still need the disc but will make the fan go alot quieter. and will make it have alot less of a chance of overheating which is a real big problem with xbox's. and for games call of duty world at war, should be a good game and usually good racing games are need for speed, burnout, and midnight club.What is the difference between the different Xbox 360 models?

A couple days ago my power flashed in my room and sense then my xbox 360 hasn't been able to even detect my memory unit. I tried the memory unit on another xbox 360 and it worked. I tried alternating slots and it still wasn't recognized. Tried customer service and not going to send in for repair. It will fail at one of these points and pop up a message saying its failed and will then give you the option of "More Info" or "Back/Cancel"

It will probably say something about being unable to identify the DNS settings, it may be something as simple as an incorrect WEP Key, maybe you just put 1 letter/number in wrong, always make sure your WEP Key is entered EXACTLY as its shown (usually written on the router somewhere) so if its in All Capitals make sure you enter it that way, if its Some Capitals and Some Lower Case then enter it that way.
If its failing on the stage between Router and then Internet then its something wrong with your Internet and not with the Xbox itself, so try Resetting your Router and trying again.
Its always a good idea to enter your wireless info into the xbox manually, after you try and connect at the top there should be an option to Configure Settings or something like that, go into it and put in all the info below

I think i read that the adapter with 1 antenna does A/B/G networks and the 'N' adapter does A/B/G and N networks. Project Gotham Racing 4 is the best/most realistic racing game I have played. So I would suggest it.
I don't know if Grid has split-screen, I have it rented and sitting around but I never tried the multiplayer option (honestly, I got tired of the game, I found the AI to be massively unfair on the later levels so I stopped playing) -- anyhow, Forza Motorsport 2 has split-screen, and so do all of the Need for Speed games that have been released for the 360 so far... and, if you are a Burnout fan, I'm sure you already know that Burnout Revenge (even though it's an early title) has split-screen as well.

I have an ethernet cable, a Windows XP laptop, a Buffalo brand WHR-HP-G54 model router, Charter internet, and an Xbox 360 (naturally).
