I just got a new xbox 360 and for some reason the console's start button is blinking red. Anyone know what the problem is?Blinking red light on my xbox 360 start button on console?

The red lights on the 360's power button indicate different things depending on the pattern. If the whole circle is red, your AV cable is loose or damaged. Check that. I'm assuming this is the problem since it's a brand new 360 and shouldn't have the more serious issues that can happen. Please let us know how many red segments you see and we can tell you the problem.
