My Xbox 360 controller connects fine, but when you turn right it does it about twice as slow as turning left. Those things are expensive so I really don't want to buy a new one. Try taking your controller apart and seeing if there is anything in there that shouldnt be that is maybe in the way of the thumbstick, refraining it from moving a quickly as you want. If that doesn't work, I'd suggest buying a new one.
