I had a free trial of an xbox 360 live gold membership. Now, the trial ran out, but I still want to get on the gamertag because I have save files from my games on there. When I try to log-in it just tells me that it's not a valid xbox live membership. Even as a silver account, you should still be able to log into Live as well as use the account for your game saves and all that.. You won't be able to play any games, though, so if you try going online through a game, it will fail. You should be able to log in just find from the Dashboard.
