Is it possible to connect your laptop to your xbox 360 with a ethernet cable and make xbox live work?

Hi, I really dont want to pay for a wireless network adapter for the xbox 360 so can you tell me if it works??? If so exactly how do you do it?

I have a Dell Inspiron Notebook and an Xbox 360 60gb

Any help is appreciatedIs it possible to connect your laptop to your xbox 360 with a ethernet cable and make xbox live work?
Darkly Dreaming Dex is wrong simply and nicely put.

If your laptop is running a wireless connection already all you have to do it connect you xbox to the laptop Via Ethernet cable. From that point you have to bridge the connection. To do this open the start menu and open your network connections. You should see your wireless connection and a LAN connection. Highlight both of these and right click on one. Select bridge connection and let the computer do its job. From there just turn the system on and sign in.
No, it isn't possible. Theoretically if both are running on the same network, they are connected thanks to Windows Media Extender. But you can't use your computer as a router. Is it possible to connect your laptop to your xbox 360 with a ethernet cable and make xbox live work?
YES, it's possible...all you have to do is to enable the WINDOWS INTERNET CONNECTION on your laptop..if you dont know how to that, you can call WICS for support
