How do I know if an Xbox 360 is a Premium version or Core?

Someone is wanting me to put their Xbox 360 on ebay for them, and they just got it for Christmas so they don't know much about it, and I've never had an Xbox or Xbox 360, so I know nothing about it. How can I check if it's a Premium version or Core? How do I know if an Xbox 360 is a Premium version or Core?
Pro and Premium are one and the same. Just different names depending on the store.

Since you can add and remove the harddrive at will, the only way to be sure if it's a core or pro model, is by checking the drive tray.

If it has a chrome finish, the console is/was a pro model. If it is a white plastic, it is/was a core model.

However, inside, both consoles are the same, so theoretically, if the additional accessories are bought afterwards, the Core is exactly the same as the Pro, let alone the missing chrome finish.

To definitely know if a Pro is really a Pro console, the following has to be in the box:

An ethernet cable (core doesn't have it).

A wireless controller (the cores before the Arcade was released only had wired controllers).

A headset (core doesn't have it).

A 20 GB harddisc (core doesn't have it).

A combined HDTV / SDTV cable with 6 plugs. (The core only has a 3 plug standard TV cable).

The drive tray has to have a chrome finish.

My 360 is a pro and it came with a white disk tray. lol.

If it has a hard drive, its premium. If it only has a 256 MB memory card, its a core.
premium-has the hard drive and wireless controller

core-no hard drive and wired controllerHow do I know if an Xbox 360 is a Premium version or Core?
simple: core has no hard drive and a white disk tray while the pro has a 20 gb hard drive and a chrome disk tray trim .besides that they are the same thing.
