Do normal xbox 360 controllers work with the Wireless Gaming Receiver for computer?

I'd like to connect an Xbox 360 controller to my pc but i don't have a wired one only the regular wireless ones that come with an xbox 360. I read about the Wireless Gaming Receiver and would like to know if it works with my controller, i don't waant to buy and then find out it doesn't work.

The wireless receivers for Windows should work with any wireless Xbox 360 controller I'd think. I'm not sure about some 3rd party ones, but Microsoft ones should be fine.Do normal xbox 360 controllers work with the Wireless Gaming Receiver for computer?
