How to put xbox 360 games on a official xbox 360 hardrive?

Hi how do i put my xbox 360 games on to the Xbox 360 hardrive?

Will doing this compromise speed graphics etc?

How much space would you recommend I leave for saved game data and microsoft updates etc?

Thanks for your help in advanceHow to put xbox 360 games on a official xbox 360 hardrive?
You can install xbox 360 games to hard drive. The advantage of this is that it will decrease loading times/make the game run better.

You install a game by using the xbox 360 dashboard. Go to where it says "play game." Press "y" and it will ask you if you would like to install it. It will take about 10 minutes or less to install a normal sized game and each installed game takes about 6 gigabytes on the hard drive. You will still need the disc to start the games, but once the game is up and running, the disk stops spinning and the hard drive takes over.

If you are planning on installing a lot of games, you should get a hard drive that is AT LEAST 60gb. the 10 gb hard drive just isn't big enough to install more than one game.

you put the game in the xbox and go to dashboard.

press Y on the play game box and then select install to hard drive, most games take up around 5GB-7GB.

runs faster, runs quieter, loads quicker, and saves your discs from getting wrecked.

your game has to be in the tray to play tho.

its so you cant just rent a game and keep it on your HDD
