How much did Xbox 360 Elite cost in English pounds when it first came out?

Well this is a very difficult question to answer, mainly because ALL of the articles are American and only give the original price in Dollars. (Which was $479.99)
However, with the exchange prices from today, that would equal about 拢300.
Since the exchange prices then were about (1.90 USD : 1 GBP)
the price for an Xbox Elite when it first came out in Engand was about 拢260.
