What xbox 360 remote will work to play games on windows vista 64 bit?

There is only two types of controllers, Wireless, and Wired.



The wired controller is "Directly Compatible".

If you want to use the wireless controller you have to buy the Wireless Gaming Receiver.

I have Vista 32 bit and a wired xbox 360 controller. In order for me to use it I had to download a driver off of Microsoft.com to use it. The same is true for vista 64 bit. If you choose to get a wireless gaming reciever and wireless controller, I don't believe you need to download any drivers as it is probably plug and play.



The wired controller is going to be about half as much as the wireless option.
