Xbox 360 ?

Xbox 360 3 Red Lights why does this happen and how can you prevent it from happening to your 360 ? thanksXbox 360 ?
If you have a 360, it is very common that that would happen. This happens because when your unit becomes too hot, the chips inside (specifically the brain and the graphics chip of the 360) dettaches themselves from the motherboard and the xbox won't work anymore, microsoft used cheap material to put them on, to prevent this, don't play for too long, consistent high temperatures will cause this to happen, however, the 360's available now have the same chips but they're smaller, which will result in an energy efficient, cooler running 360! Plus, they have a less chance of having the red ring of death.
The ring of death is usually caused by overheating. There may or may not be truths to this.



Anyway, to prevent overheating, don't put the 360 inside a cabinet with closed doors. Don't put the 360 near a heat source, such as a radiator or direct sunlight. Don't put the 360 on the carpet. Don't clutter the area around the 360. Keep the 360 as free as possible.Xbox 360 ?

It's caused by some kind of overheating issue and the best way to avoid it is to keep your system well ventilated and as cool as possible. I have had one since launch and it only happened to me once and i totally blame myself for that one.Xbox 360 ?
The 3 lights of death (The three red lights) indicate software failure. My friend had this happen to his Xbox 360 , but they went away and his Xbox is ok, but now Live is kinda wierd for him, it has trouble signing in

YOU HAVE THE THREE RINGS OF DEATH!!!!!!!! This means you have to take it back because its broken. xBox 360's RULE!!!!! Ohh and its impossible to fix don't try.
This Happens because your xbox has overheated and it is to hot to run like normal and to prevent it you should get a cooling system and not block the vent and don't stuff it between books and other hardware
If you can send it in under warranty. If not take it to a game store see if they can fix it. You may have a power fault going on
the 3 red rings of death is just a component melting inside your box. keep you xbox laying down in a well ventilated area.
go to a bestbuy during the night throw the xbox to break the window run in and grab a ps3 and go home.
call the helpline if an error comes up on screen cuz red=bad

My cousins Xbox 360 got 4 red lights and he returned it,but there is no shear way of preventing it.
