Xbox 360...?

im thinking about getting a used xbox 360 cause im kinda low on cash. i was wonderning what people thought of it...is it worth it .like dose it run fine any, problems you have seen with used xboxes?

btw no answers like vote for someone or xbox sucks ps3 rocks or wii.Xbox 360...?
well used will depend on the user. but what you want to avoid is a first run 360. those are the ones that constantly are getting refurbished. so look at the serial number of the 360 and make sure the last 5 digits don't start with a #4 or 5.

The first of those five digits is the year in which it was made (5 = 2005, 6 = 2006, 7 = 2007). The next two are the week in which it was made (01 = 1st week, 02 = 2nd week up to 52 = last week of the year). The last two digits is where the console was assembled
Don't buy one used. (you won't know what you are getting).

As you have seen on here, they do have overheating problems. But that kind of just luck of the draw. (i had mine die after 1 year and half. ) so its not THAT bad.

Its fun! Great games! Not much more to say.Xbox 360...?
xbox 360 is better than ps3 and wii
Well all 360s are covered for 3 years in case of RRoD. If you buy a used one you will be covered unless the previous owner has that 360 registered under their name, so you might get screwed. Just check that out and then you should be fine, although I do suggest that you should buy a new one.Xbox 360...?
dont ever buy a used xbox 360 coz u never kno wats they done to it or maybe if u buy it and later after 3months dont work anymore and u go 2 return it for the onwer he/she will say you wrecked no my problem so just save up money a get a brand new X360 oh unless the owner give us warrenty for years
Its always better to buy a video game console brand new and not used or refurbished. First off you know that no one else has mishandled the system since you are the first owner. You can also have it registered under your name to make sure that you are covered for the 3 year warranty. Even if you are low on cash and can't afford the $450 XBox 360 Elite system, you can still get a core system brand new in the stores for $279 or probably even cheaper at on-line auction sites like eBay or amazon. The only thing with a core system is that it doesn't come with a hard drive, only a memory unit. The memory unit should be just fine for a while until you can get a hard drive. The main reason to have a hard drive is to hold pics and music and stuff. As far as this system compared to other systems...XBox 360 crushes the competition. The games are better (and cheaper) and there are a lot more options of games to choose from. Plus you will find a lot more gamers who own a 360 as opposed to a PS3 because of this price. This is good because you have a lot more people to play against when you go on-line. Hope this helps.
i think xbox360 is way better than the original xbox. you can do more things on it. but if you don't think it's a good idea you should get a nintendo wii.
if you want a free xbox 360 then go to this site and follow the instuctions. http://www.360Elite4free.com/index.php?ref=4611393
