Xbox 360??

I have an xbox 360 and have been having problems with it for example when I'm playing a game I wont even be playing for 2min and it will freeze. I tryed to send it back to xbox but they said they wont fix it. Although when an xbox live update comes it starts to work again. What do you think I should do so it works all the time??Xbox 360??
well dude im sorry to hear that heres a couple things you can do see if it helps a lil



Try to powercycle your console = unplugg everything off the xbox and let it sit there for about 2 minutesthen plugg everything back in.



2.Try to clear the cache = go to the system area of your dash board %26gt;%26gt; then go down to memory %26gt;%26gt; then on hard drive press the Y button %26gt;%26gt; then you will be prompted to a screen that'll say rename and format %26gt;%26gt; then in that screen you are going to press this sequence



X, X, LB, RB, X, X



then itll pop up a screen that will say something liek do you want to perform system maintainance and you will select yes or continue (now just to let you know that is not going to delete anything off the hard drive).





3.Another step is try to clean your games make sure that they are in a good condition also make sure that youre consoel is in a well-ventilated place.





4.Another thing you can try is to sit the console in a different position for instance if the console is sitting horizontal try to sit it vertically.



5.Make sure that the console is set to the correct date and time.



6.Make sure that the console is PAL, is it set to PAL 60Hz



and last but not least try in a different wall socket, you might not be getting enough voltage.



If this doesnt solve the issue you might have to call xbox 18004699269 and get your console fixed is $99.00 dollars and by you paying this repair cost you will automatically get 1 year of warranty that will cover you up for anything that might happen to the xbox plus 1 free month of xbox live.



Unless you get the THREE RED LIGHTS FLASHIN that is covered with a three year warranty from the purshase date..

well heres what is going to happen, first the freezing comes then the red ring of death (rrod) your system will over heat and not work. Once you got the red ring of death they will fix it for you, and if they say they wont they extended warrantys 3 years. So if it was manufactured in 2006 (it says on the xbox) they can fix and have to fix until 2009. Dude dont waste your money on 360 anymore. I got rid of mine after having it repaired 4 times and bought a ps3 and now im a happy customer.

are you sure you can't send it back? I sent mine back and they replaced it when I got the red ring of death. Try calling them and speaking to them about it, their online service honestly sucks.
go to a best buy and get it inspected they usually they do that for free and then go to www.xbox.com and find out if they can fix it
