Okay I am pretty lazy, but anyway I have a question. Is there a way where I can shut off my Xbox 360 without standing up to turn it off?Xbox 360???????????????????
All Xbox 360 control peripherals incorporate a Guide button on them somewhere, which amongst other things can be used to turn off the console. Press and hold the Guide button - the X in the centre of an Xbox 360 gamepad - for three seconds, and from the tab which appears on the right hand side of your screen you can shut off your Xbox.
Alternatively the Xbox 360 media remote control has a dedicated power button on it which you can use to turn the console on and off.

All you gotta do is hold the power button on the controller until a side menu comes out from the right side of the screen. Then just click on "Shut Down Console" And you just saved yourself some energy. :DXbox 360???????????????????
yes u hold down the guide button in the center of the system and select from one of the following options turn of controller or turn off console u should really read the manual that came with your console that`s assuming u got a new one
