I updated my xbox 360 and i do not know what to do?

So I updated my xbox 360 and no whenever i turn it on, my homepage is someting different. I want to get it back to the original homepage and was wondering how i do that?

As well, does my xbox 360 come with a 1 month live free trial and if I connect it to my dads laptop, will he find out?I updated my xbox 360 and i do not know what to do?
When you do the update (which is mandatory) it changes the format of the main screen. There is no way to change it back, It does take some getting used to but really its better because now you get more content and you can also stream movies now. XBOX reformatted the home screen so they could put more things on there..thus giving you a better "xbox/live experience". But like i said, it does take some getting used to, but in the end i think you'll like it better man
The new homepage you have is the NXE " New Xbox live Experience" once you have it you can't lose it even if you take your hard drive out and start the console it still will be there.Your dad can find out if he catches you playing it or if you somehow change the computer's Ip adress. and yes you can get online with your dad's laptop, Just make sure to look up videos on youtube of people getting xbox live on laptops so you know how to make sure your dad doesn't find out.I updated my xbox 360 and i do not know what to do?
you can't get back to the original home screen...when you updated, you installed the new operating system on your xbox.

and you cannot connect to LIVE through a laptop, you will need to connect the xbox directly to a live internet source...either the wall outlet, router, or wifi.
If you mean you want to get back to the dashboard then i am not sure if you go to memory than something like system files:S(I think) it'll be there, if you cant delete it then no theres not, that i know of anyways...I updated my xbox 360 and i do not know what to do?
The new update is here to stay. No way to go back to the old version. Trust me, you'll get used to the new dashboard and find it better than the old one.
