I've heard between 24-48 hours is the most that you can have your xbox running. I have a recent xbox 360 elite that my parents bought me on January 2010. So how long can it stay running?How long can my xbox 360 safely stay running without overheating?
I麓ve had my X-Box on for more than 5 days, no problems. Another factor you have to take into consideration is how cool is the room it is in and is the console well ventilated (i.e.) Nothing on top of it or on the sides %26amp; not crammed onto some tight shelf.

There isn't any set time. The temperature doesn't just jump up after some hours or days or whatever. Once it can ventilate properly, it can go on as long as you want basically without overheating.How long can my xbox 360 safely stay running without overheating?
you heard wrong..its 3-4 hours tops.
the 360 is just and overheats fast
maybe longer who knows :/
