How much does the Xbox 360 have to move for the disc to get damaged?

I've heard if the Xbox 360 moves during gameplay the game disc will get damaged. My 360 is now on a desk where there is an arcade stick and speakers. I'm wondering if minor movement due to sound vibration or very minor desk movement from arcade stick use on the desk is enough to cause damage to the disc?

Very little movement can cause it to mess up, if you pick it up at all then thats damage, my brother once threw a small beach ball that bounced on the 360 and that messed it up, and you know how light a beach ball is, and if its vibration you are worried about I do think that will mess it upHow much does the Xbox 360 have to move for the disc to get damaged?
down load all your games to your harddrive. that way if a disc gets damaged. then u have it saved to the hard drive. all you will need to do is KEEP the damaged disc and put it in the 360 so that the consul can acknowledge you own it. This works great. i"ve saved many game because of it
