How to record xbox 360 gameplay when xbox is connected to pc monitor?

Hi all.I want to know how can i record Xbox 360 game play when my Xbox is connected to my PC monitor with an hdmi/VGA cable(not connected to TV).Do i need a capture card?If yes which one should i buy?I would also like to know the step by step procedure on how to setup everything so i can record gameplay for Xbox connected to my PC monitor.Any help would be appreciated.How to record xbox 360 gameplay when xbox is connected to pc monitor?
Hey I done this a few days ago. you need a capture card I bought one from amazon it was an "Easy Cap" works fine picture wasnt the best but I will put a link in you can see what I recorded the other link i have put in bellow is for a tutorial on how to set it up.

If it it windows 7 then software for this is hard to get it took me a few hours of looking before i could get it working.



(Dont buy it off of ebay because there is a lot of fakes out there your best buying from Amazon)

You would need a Xbox 360 Capture card, I would recommend the Roxio Game Capture. It is 拢47.95 off ebay and it is not a rip off i bought one the other day and i do not regret paying 拢47.95 and its actually pretty cheap :)How to record xbox 360 gameplay when xbox is connected to pc monitor?
